A lifelong Summit resident and Free Public Library supporter, Ms. Meola will explore the details about some historic homes of Summit and the residents who lived in them, plus more.

The Carter House Museum will be open on Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22 from noon to 5pm for visitors to tour the house and our collection of Summit artifacts, showing the city’s history from its earliest days before the American Revolution to the 1830s, when the first train arrived, up to the present time.
Tour other historic buildings throughout Union County, including Summit's Twin Maples and the Summit Playhouse.
The Summit Antique Center will host a benefit for the Summit Historical Society on Thursday evening May 5th from 5 pm to 8 pm. As a preview for their Mother’s Day Sale, most items will be priced at 20% off.
